About Monika
Monika Grzelak creator and leader of DANCE AVENUE PERFORMANCE TEAM dance group, with which since 2009 she has performed at the world's largest salsa festivals in Dubai, London, Paris, New York, Singapore, Berlin and Canada, presenting her own choreographies and collaborating on various dance projects.
In 2009 she founded and still runs DANCE AVENUE Dance and Movement Academy in Gdansk. Vice World Champion in Mambo IDO and multiple Polish Champion in Salsa, pedagogue, motivational speaker, dance instructor, dancer of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, in which she plays in the performance "Saturday Night's Fever".
As a choreographer, she has worked on various television productions, including TVN's television "You Can Dance" - Polish and Ukrainian editions, TV show of Polsat television "Fabryka Gwiazd" , new production of Polsat television "Zaskocz Bliskich", new TV show of Polsat Café television “Randka z niaznajomym”, TV show of TVN television “Zaskocz mnie”. She cooperated in the production of the first Polish dance film produced by TVN television - "Kochaj i tańcz" (Love and Dance) was a substantive assistant of Jarosław Stańko - the main choreographer - she co-created the choreography for the film and played the role of a dancer in it. I took part in the "Got to Dance" programme, in which she reached the semi-finals.
